Task Force 23 is for Roddenberry/Berman Trek sims. TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT, and the movies up to and including Nemesis.
Area 51 is for the Abrams movies (Kelvin timeline), DSC, PIC, PRO, LD, SNW, and beyond. 51 is also for non-Trek sims/games. (The TTRPG is in 23.)
The TFCO of Task Force 23 is Landon Mabrade of Starbase Typhon.
The TFCO of Area 51 is Taiga Aisaka of the USS Tokyo.
