The USS Helvetia is an Intrepid class starship that has been assigned to the far reaches of Federation space. Her mission is to patrol and explore the regions along and beyond the Federation's borders, where the stars are unknown, diplomacy is fragile, and the line between ally and adversary is often unclear.
